HOW TO MEASUREBUST Outline the bust (breast) area with a tape measure and breathe normally. Notice the variations as you breathe and record the highest number. WAIST Outline with a tape measure your natural waistline. Stand in front of a mirror with your waist clearly visible. Slightly tilt the torso to the side, visualise the formation of a crease, which indicates the position of your natural waist. HIPS With the feet together measure the fullest part of your hip area. Your hip measurements should be taken at where your hips are the widest to make sure the clothes fit accurately. Start at one hip and wrap the tape measure around your rear, around the other hip, and back to where you started. Once you have your measuring tape in place, you may need to move up or down an inch or two to find the widest spot. ARM LENGTH Short sleeve - Measure the distance between the shoulder and the arm to your desired length. Bracelet length/below the elbow sleeve - With your arm slightly bent (45-degree bend), measure the distance between the shoulder and the forearm (to your desired length) by passing the tape behind the elbow. Long sleeve - With your arm slightly bent (45-degree bend), measure the distance between the shoulder and the wrist by passing the tape behind the elbow. * The easiest way to provide accurate measurements is to measure one of your garment that fits you really well. Take a shirt that fits you well, lay it flat, and measure the sleeve of an existing garment that you are happy with, from the top of the sleeve to the hem. INSEAM LENGTH Measure the internal distance of the leg from the pelvis to the sole of the foot. * The easiest way to provide accurate measurements is to measure one of your garment that fits you really well. Take a pair of pants that fit you well, lay them flat and measure from the crotch to the bottom of the leg as shown in the below photo.
